A timeless book for those who love the coast. A few years ago I found myself back home in my North Florida hometown on St Joseph’s Bay. I was searching for my footing after a soul-decision to leave my former corporate marketing career — I needed the serenity and simplicity I knew lived at the beach. There my inner peace was restored and I gained a full understanding of all that a coastal life brings — beauty, ease, and connection. A beautiful phenomenon.
Upon being home, I joined my passions for the area with two fellow creatives, Melissa Farrell and Christina McDermott, where together we storied what we loved about our home into a self-published coffee table book, Saints of Old Florida. Local history, traditional recipes, vintage relics and our own, personal stories & mementos were the guides — featuring the towns of Port St. Joe, St. Vincent’s Island, Indian Pass, St. George Island, Apalachicola, St. Teresa Beach and St. Marks, Florida.
Saints of Old Florida received a Florida Book Award - a silver medal in Visual Arts. It was featured with Garden & Gun, The Bitter Southerner, Local Palate and Flamingo Magazine.
